Hi! My name is Joanne Nathan and I ENJOY my job! I teach kindergarten at Highland Primary in Highland, Illinois. Kindergarten is fun, challenging, and very rewarding. Each year brings new faces that are so ready to learn.

I graduated from Concordia Teachers' College in Seward, Nebraska with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I received a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in early childhood from Southern Illinois University.

My husband, Rod, and I have been married for 33 years. We have two children. Ryan lives in Phoenix, Arizona and Gwenn lives in St. Louis, Missouri.

I enjoy reading, computer games, antique shopping, and traveling. One of my favorite things to do is visit Bennett Springs, Missouri with family and friends where everyone fishes for trout.
