Dear 8th Grade Families:
We want to extend a warm welcome to the Class of 2028 at Highland High School! You and your child are cordially invited to attend the 8th Grade Parent Night on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the HHS Commons. The doors will open at 6:00 PM, and families will have the chance to meet HHS administration, school counselors, and faculty and staff.
Parent Night is an event designed to help families plan their child's academic journey, offer school building tours, and answer questions regarding the transition to high school. In late January and early February 2024, school counselors will visit HMS and present a similar session to 8th graders. In January, we will share a digital copy of the Academic Planning Guide, Physical and Health Requirements, and other crucial information to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Our goal is to ensure a seamless and positive transition for your child from 8th grade to high school. We are excited to work with you to support your child's high school education and look forward to meeting the Class of 2028!
