Highland Girls Basketball defeats Breese Central 50-33 at the Mascoutah Tournament. They will be back in action tonight at 8:30 in the Semi-Final versus the winner of East St Louis and Nashville. Good luck to Coach Hamilton and the team.

The Varsity Boys Basketball team was defeated by Centralia tonight 56-23. The boys are back in action on December 26 at 9am vs Mater Dei in the first game of the Mater Dei Christmas Tournament.
Our lady bowlers had an outstanding day! The ladies took second overall in the Herrin bowling Tournament. Carissa Merkle placed 2nd overall and Molly Marshall took 1st. Way to go! ❤️🎳🖤

StuCo and Brighter Futures teamed up to adopt families in the Highland community. Students and staff donated to “stuff the stocking” so that these groups could buy Christmas presents for two local families. Today they got to shop and deliver those presents. Thank you to everyone who donated; your generosity is truly appreciated this holiday season. 🎁🎄❤️

RESULTS ARE IN!!! The Highland FFA Toy Drive final count revealed JOHN DEERE as the winner with 194 presents, blowing away the CASE fans who collected 122 presents! 190 presents were donated from high school students, 126 presents from the community, and a special shout out to the HHS Bulldog Grounds Coffee Shop who donated $400 to the cause! Officers are delivering presents today to St. Louis Children’s Hospital! THANK YOU everyone for the donation of 316 presents, exceeding our goal of 200!!!!❤️🎄🎁
Highland athletics would like to thank Donnie and Vicki Bledsoe and their daughter Hannah for their $1500 donation. This donation honors their son Nick who passed away in 2011. Rural King, Steve Schmitt and the Nick Bledsoe Memorial Golf outing made this donation possible.
