Good morning. The next round of storms are expected to begin between 9-11am, therefore all practices and games are cancelled for Monday, December 16.
Take advantage of Monday’s Snow Day to get some extra study time for finals. The Final Exam schedule remains unchanged and begins Wednesday, Dec 18 through Dec 20.

Boys place 5th and Girls 2nd at the Belleville Southern IL Team Challenge. Austin Davis has the 3rd highest game of the tournament 279. Molly Marshall places 5th individually with a 1209 series. Carissa Merkle places 4th individually with a 1262 series.

Varsity Girls Basketball fell to Edwardsville 62-48 today. The Lady Bulldogs host Civic Memorial on Wednesday with JV starting at 6pm and Varsity to follow.

Students in Honors Spanish 2 work on their food skits


Students in Mrs. Mantz’s Life Skills class help prepare and serve at the Christmas Lunch for faculty and staff. They did an amazing job and were so excited to see everyone come and eat.




Mrs. Tyler, Special Services Director and Mrs. Mantz, Life Skills Teacher enjoy time with students at the Christmas Luncheon. The students prepared an amazing meal for HHS staff.

Mrs. Heinz’s Business & Technology students collected 334 food items for the HACSM Highland Food Pantry.

Congratulations to Kamy Daiber, Rileigh Bent, and Karley Broske who were selected to the ICCA All State Cheer team. Kamy Daiber was also selected as an ICCA scholarship finalist! Well done ladies!


Best of luck to our Cheerleaders as they compete at home tomorrow in the Highland ICCA Tournament. The girls compete at 2pm. Come on out and support the team!
