An impactful lesson in Mrs. Bland’s College Writing class as students crafted thesis statements and participated in learning conversations with peers. They are learning to take their writing to the next level with meaning and purpose.
Some exciting new things are happening in the Highland FFA! The new tractor that was leased with grant money was delivered yesterday. Also, our plot sponsor sign is now up, with landscaping still to come. A special thank you to all of our sponsors that support the FFA plot! Also a huge thank you to Alumni member Shawn Hogg and Trouw Nutrition employees for helping the FFA members install it.

HHS will be taking a fan bus to the quarter final football game this Saturday, November 10 in Joliet. The cost is $20 per student, which includes the game ticket. Permission slips and money are due to the HHS office by 9:00 am Friday morning.
