JV hoops battling against Carlyle!


Bulldogs 50-Chatham Glenwood 42. Boys took over in the 2nd half and owned it showing hustle, heart, and toughness to seal the game. A great win against a tough CS8 opponent.





Varsity Boys Basketball up by 2 at half against Chatham-Glenwood. Good ball game so far.


New TV at the information desk to increase communication with HHS news, announcements, games, concerts, and events. Today we are running the Mattoon FB playoff game. Students take a quick look during passing periods and lunch.


PAC is sponsoring a charity Christmas Tree that will be put up in the Commons. Bring in your hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and extra coats to support a child in need this winter season. The items can be slightly used or bought new. Items are due by DEC 14th. #helpingothers


Happy Friday everyone! If you’re out and about this Saturday, the Highland FFA has just the thing you need to complete your Christmas decorations! They have worked putting together real Christmas wreaths as a fundraiser. The FINAL wreath sale will be held from 7am-12pm tomorrow. You can pick up one of these wreaths from Tru-Buy, Rural King, or Alhambra Maedge’s! Once they’re gone, they’re gone so come get one! They look absolutely beautiful




Circuit Judge Sarah Smith presented to HHS students today on positive choices and good decision making. Please continue to encourage your student to be smart and to make healthy choices. We care about them so much.

Winter sports and activities have been invoiced and full payment is due by December 15 or students will not be eligible to participate in competitions, events, and performances. Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter and enjoy the winter sports season!
