Students in Mrs. Jones’ Culinary Occupations I class do a close read on knives and cutlery as they complete descriptors of various cuts. Later in the week they will put what they have learned to practice as they are assessed in the foods lab.

The Highland High School Bass Fishing Club received a wonderful donation from the Memorial Fund for Chuck (C.W.) Taylor. Chuck was an avid fisherman that enjoyed watching the Highland Bass Fishing Club at Carlyle Lake. He passed away on July 8, 2023 and his family set up this memorial fund in his honor.
