Mrs. Mecala Scholl, 7 Black Science, has been educating students for 24 years. During her time away from school, she enjoys spending time with her family and being active outside. Mrs. Scholl’s favorite food is pizza and she loves candy of any kind, especially chocolate. One thing you may not know about Mrs. Scholl is that she loves to go to concerts. What she loves most about teaching is being with the kids everyday and seeing them get excited about learning. Thanks Mrs. Scholl for your dedication to HMS!

Mrs. Kelly Coziar, 7 Red Math, has been teaching now for 21 years. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports (as well as the Cardinals and the Blues), playing golf, and traveling. Some of her favorite foods are steak and sweet potatoes, gooey butter cake, and Heath bars. Mrs. Coziar not only teaches middle school math, but she also teaches college students who are hoping to become teachers. She loves helping students understand that hard work will get them farther in life than anything, as well as helping students understand difficult math concepts. Most of them don't realize that math is really about breaking problems down into smaller parts. Thank you Mrs. Coziar for helping kids realize that math is fun!

Miss Becca Braundmeier, 7 Red Geography, has been teaching for 5 years. When she is not teaching she enjoys hanging out with her family and going camping. Some of her favorites are bacon and Kit Kats. One thing unique about Miss Braundmeier is that she loves traveling to other countries as often as possible. What she enjoys most about teaching is working with and having fun with her students. Thanks Miss Braundmeier for all that you do to help our kids have a better understanding of the world we live in.
