Today brings an end to the official "Teacher Appreciation Week", however these four ladies are appreciated all year for everything they do to help educate their students! They go above & beyond every single day! This week, they were showered with gifts, treats and notes from our PTO, students, staff & parents! Grantfork Elementary is so lucky to have such amazing teachers!!


Congratulations to all who participated in our Earth Day poster contest! The decision was a tough one because there are lots of creative & artistic students here at Grantfork Elementary! Congratulations to our classroom winners: Eloise Esmon, Kylee Simon, Gavin Stewart & Stella Lorton!





On the afternoon of Friday, April 9th, a few members of the Grantfork Volunteer Fire Dept gave a presentation on bike safety to our 4th grade students. They discussed the rules of the road, things to look for and the importance of properly fitted safety gear! Each 4th grader came home with a brand new bike helmet! A big thank you to Scott Dressler for organizing this annual event for us!



Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 13th! That is our next PTO Domino's Night! Take the night off from cooking & order some pizza! Our PTO gets 20% of every dollar spent! It's a win-win!

Fifth grade students were able to participate in a zoom call with Mr. Josh Wojcik. Mr. Wojcik helped to engineer the generators helping to power the Mars Rover Perseverance. The students asked great questions about engineering and the rover.

Mrs. Warnecke's fourth grade class has been studying about stored energy in a rubber band in science! Our students love these hands on activities!
