We couldn’t hide from the IAR tests!

We are relaxed for the IAR tests!

Hats off to the IAR. Testing starts tomorrow and we’re ready!

HE’s Girls on the Run program is sponsoring a cereal drive for the Highland Food Pantry. We are participating in the Cereal Box Domino Challenge. Please check out YouTube for some fun videos of other schools who have conquered it. Please help by donating boxes of cereal. They can be sent in with students or dropped off in the office. We appreciate your help. The students can’t wait to see the dominoes fall throughout the hallways!

It’s time to clean out those closets again! Highland Elementary is competing in a textile recycling contest during the month of April. Please deposit clothes, bedding, curtains and any other textiles you are ready to purge into the bins at the 4 Diamonds. We appreciate your help!

Miss Detweiler’s class is learning about budgeting today.

We lost a big, beautiful tree this fall that was in front of the school. A big thank you to Dale Vrell for saving a piece and spending the time to preserve it. It turned out to be a beautiful piece in our landscape.
