4th graders met with the Highland band directors on Friday. They got to try out on all of the different instruments in preparation for next year’s 5th Grade Band at HE.
We celebrated our fundraiser for Pancreatic Cancer this afternoon with "Slime the Staff Member". Mr. Skinner, Mrs. Minford and Mrs. Ford were chosen as the targets. Our school raised $3,188.12 in memory of our beloved Mr. Dempsey.

100X’s PRACTICE CHALLENGE
The 5th grade band students were challenged to practice a specific piece out of their band book 100 times during the month of January. Congratulations to those students who completed the challenge and celebrated today with food, games and by performing the piece together with their principals, Mrs. Miscik and Mrs. Brauns.
Mrs. Plebanek’s and Mr. Conway’s fourth grade classes study forces and motion in science class using paper roller coasters and marbles!
