Congratulations to our Model UN students who had a successful spring conference at McKendree University.

FFA Week was a huge success last week. Many different activities throughout the week, including planting for the sale coming up in May.

Seniors-We are excited to have local business professionals share all the things you need to "Know Before You Go" during Senior Seminar on Thursday March 12th.
This is a great opportunity to network and ask questions. Thank you to the Highland Business Education Alliance for collaborating with us on this event!

We appreciate our school social workers each and every day, but we are especially thankful for them this week: National School Social Worker Week. Thank you to Mrs. Kelsey Zippay and Ms. Addison Rinderer for all they do to support the students and staff at HHS!

On Monday, February 23, Highland High School administration was made aware of a written threat related to school safety. Administration immediately notified district leadership and School Resource Officer and initiated a thorough investigation.

The individual responsible for the threat was identified, and appropriate action has been taken. At this time, there is no concern for the safety of students or staff at Highland High School.

We appreciate the cooperation and support of our students, staff, families, and law enforcement partners in ensuring a safe learning environment. The safety and well-being of our school community remain our highest priority at Highland CUSD #5.

The Highland CUSD5 IT Department is looking for a new logo!

Our Marketing class did an outstanding job designing several creative logo options. Students were given the opportunity to vote, and the top three logos have been selected.
