Mrs. Nancy Klaus has been involved in education for over 38 years. She loves going to her grandchildren’s activities and cannot miss a St. Louis Cardinals game. She is their number one fan! Some of her favorites are Coca-Cola and baked lays potato chips. She also enjoys driving in her red mustang convertible. The best thing about teach, according to Mrs. Klaus, is working with her student, there is never a dull moment. They make life unbelievable!! Thanks for dancing your way into our hearts at HMS.

Mrs. Linda Berg, one of our 6th grade special education teachers, has been teaching for 31 years. In her spare time, she enjoys outside activities, especially gardening and water activities. One thing that makes Mrs. Berg unique is that she is an excellent kayaker. What she enjoys most about teaching is working with her students and seeing the growth they make in a year. Thanks for all that you do to keep are kids on the right track.

Mrs. Kristin Reynolds, 7 Black Math, has been teaching for 7 years. In her spare time, she enjoys playing board games, putting together puzzles, and watching TV. Some of her favorites include Ski, Peanut or Almond M&Ms, Mexican, and Italian food. Something that you may not know about Mrs. Reynolds is that she has played in an orchestra for 7 years. What she loves most about teaching is watching her students learn and grow over the course of the year. It is very rewarding to see each and every student grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Keep up the great work Mrs. Reynolds.

Mr. Derek Reckmann, our HMS DSR instructor, has been working with kids and coaching for the past 5 years at HMS. He enjoys playing golf, playing cards, and watching sports in his spare time. When he needs to get away from sports he enjoys working with his hands building or remodeling something. Mr. Reckmann loves Italian food and will never turn down a bag of skittles. A special talent that Mr. Reckmann has is memory recall. On a good day, he can retell a random story from years ago basically to a T. What he enjoys most about working with HMS students is watching his kids work together to achieve a common goal and seeing their excitement when they accomplish something small or something great.
